Striking set of 6 English Minton porcelain 9" dinner plates retailed for Tiffany. Featuring raised impasto gold gilt enamel atop a rich cobalt blue background. The motif comprising of Renaissance style rosettes flanked by heavily ornate scrolling foliate nestled amongst Art Deco geometric patterning with raised enamel dot accents throughout. Simply gorgeous! Trimmed by a thick gold encrusted border decorated in a frieze of lattice and leaves, with the two inner bands likewise carrying the same pattern of leaves. In very good condition, quite stunning overall, showing little to no signs of use throughout the years with no chips or cracks. Plates are marked to the reverse with the Minton crowned globe used from c1902 to 1912, retailed for Tiffany & Co, New York. Pattern number H3849.
