A gorgeous antique French sterling silver napkin ring, festooned throughout with ornate rocailles and florals. What makes this even more beautiful is the charming winged cherub motif in the center, resting above a cartouche trimmed by scrolling foliate and flowers. Simply adorable! Monogrammed Henriette in beautiful script. Hallmarked with the French Minerva 1st standard hallmark, which depicts the head of the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of .950/1000 silver (higher then sterling and almost pure silver!) and bearing a silversmith's mark for Page & Frères, active from 1901 to 1905, whose workshop was located at 7 rue Réaumur in Paris. In overall good antique condition, the napkin ring is out of round. Measures 1 1/2" tall x 2" diameter. Weighs 52.4g
