Antique Bohemian Enamel Coat-of-Arms & Cut Glass Jewelry Box / Sugar Casket

An outstanding antique Bohemian glass sugar casket, attributed to Moser. Of vibrant green colored cut glass hand painted in colorful raised enamel. Each side and lid features an enameled heraldry coat of arms, of a shield topped by a helm and flanked by mantling and banners, the back having a marquis crown. Similar pieces can be found on pg. 104 of 'Moser Artistic Glass' Ed. Two by Gary D. Baldwin. Hinged metal mounts with a rounded escutcheon shaped lock. In good antique condition with general wear, no chips or cracks, lacking a key. The box measures 5 1/2" length x 3 5/8" wide x 3 7/8" tall.
