Antique schoolgirl needlework marking sampler comprised of the alphabet done in three different style of capital letters, numerals and the initials JTD (after the numerals at the end of the second row). The rows of letters and numbers are separated by embroidered lines. The bottom of the sampler, below the bands of letters and numbers, is embroidered in a more scattered composition with a letter E, and pictorial elements including a heart, and a short greek key or meander. In good used condition with good contrast, toning and imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
