Pair Early Antique Meissen Marcolini Square Floral Bowls Crossed Swords Star - 1774-1814, Germany
Extraordinary, hard to find, pair of early Meissen porcelain square bowls / deep dishes hand-painted with large loose flower bouquets and scattered sprigs (often referred to as Deutsche Blumen or Blumenbukett ). Both are marked on the underside with the blue crossed swords and star mark used in Marcolini period (named after Count Camillo Marcolini, Meissen director from 1774 to 1814). Both come with a corner wire loop and ready to display on the wall or glass cabinet. In very good condition with minor wear to gilt, glaze irregularities, shelf wear / small scratches to underside and imperfections from the time of manufacture as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
