Wild Duck Rosenthal Porcelain Figurine 13" Large Signed Heidenreich - 20th Century, Germany

Extraordinary, very large Rosenthal porcelain figure of a wild Mallard duck with its wings spread out, taking flight. It is signed Heidenreich on the base and has the Rosenthal Germany Handgemalt mark and number 1671 on the underside. The model number 1671 was designed by Heidenreich in 1937. Fritz Heidenreich (1895-1966) was a German ceramist and sculptor who worked at Rosenthal from 1919 to 1960, and from 1946 on headed Rosenthal's art department in Selb, Germany. In excellent condition with minor imperfections from the time of manufacture. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.

Measurements: 13" at widest point (wing tip to wing tip) by 7.5" tall by 10" deep approximately.
