Lithograph after Whistler Suede Gloves (Gants de Suede) Monogram - 1894, England

Lithograph entitled Suede Gloves (Gants de Suede) portraying Whistler's sister-in-law, Ethel 'Bunnie' Philips. It is signed in the stone with the butterfly monogram of James Abbot McNeill WHISTLER (1834-1903) and has a blind seal on the lower left of The Studio London which published this plate in 1894, during Whistler's lifetime. After Whistler's death his executor had the stones erased after a limited, final edition was pulled. Beautifully framed and matted. In very good used condition with minor toning and imperfections to frame as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
