Japanese Blue Cloisonne Vase Polychrome Enamels Birds Meiji Period - c. 1900's, Japan

Meiji Period cloisonne vase decorated in polychrome enamels with small birds, a blossoming plum tree and bamboo, chrysanthemums and other flowers on a midnight-blue background. Unpolished rim, possibly silver. Displays beautifully viewed from the front, reduced because of damage to back as shown.

Measurements: 8.25" high (21 cm) approximately.
