Pair 18th C. Famille Rose 17" Platters Porcelain and Enamel - 18th Century, China

Genuine, mid to late 18th Century, pair of Jingdezhen Chinese porcelain octagonal platters with notched corners and different but complementing enamel Famille Rose decor. The upper one is painted with a formal arrangement of flowers and one below, the earlier of the two, in a looser style consistent with late (c.1760-80s) Famille Rose decoration. The "orange peel" appearance of the porcelain is indicative of late 18th-century Chinese export porcelain. In very good used condition with tight hairlines and minor imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number. Measurements: 17.3" by 14.2" (44 cm by 36 cm); Weight: 5 lbs approximately.
