Fine cylindrical lotus leaf-shaped brush pot with upturned frilled edge and a green glaze that continues just over the edge of the rim where it drips over the biscuit interior. The exterior, leaf-shaped surface has raised veins and scaled texture, three-dimensional lotus bud and seed pod, and a standing white stork. The underside has an unglazed rim and is unmarked. We have seen similar items described as modeled glazed biscuit from the Kangxi period as well as late Qing. In very good condition with minor losses and imperfections as shown.
