Vintage 1972 Cat Teapot from Japan
Here is an adorable and very collectible Cat Teapot. This cute guy measures 8"tall from bottom to tip of ears and 7-1/2" wide from tip of spout to edge of handle. He is black and whitish gray in color and is sporting a green collar. His eyes are green with black centers. He is in super conditon for turning 40 this year! Kitty is marked on bottem 1972 CMI Japan. He only has a slight flake off the lid on the bottom portrusion that fits inside the bottom half of pot. Tried to show in photo. Also a very slight flake off the inner rim of pot. Nothing major wrong with this guy. No cracks. He has purred his way into my life and now it is time for him to purrr his way into yours.
