Roseville Holland Pitcher & Two Mugs - Pre 1900

The Holland pattern was made before 1900 by the Roseville Pottery Company of Ohio. This colorful pattern of Dutchmen was handpainted and then covered with a high gloss glaze. Unmarked.

Reference: "Roseville In All Its Splendor" by Jack and Nancy Bomm. Page 174.

Our pitcher is in remarkable condition with no chips or cracks. One of the mugs is also in excellent condition. The other mug makes a nice presentation, although it has a hairline crack (See photo).

The pitcher measures 9 1/2" high while the mugs measure 4" high. Overall crazing from age.

I've been told that this set was used as a promotion for Budweiser Beer.

A very nice collectible set.
