Spectacular French Barbotine Clock Late 1800's

A rare and magnificent example of early French pottery! I have been collecting Barbotine pottery for 30 years and I have only managed to find 2 clocks.

This is from my own personal collection, but I have simply run out of space, so I must part with a few pieces.

It is in great condition, without any repairs. There is only 1 very small piece of a leaf and 1 very small piece of a petal missing. Exceptional condition for a piece of this age.

The clock mechanism had been removed before I purchased it years ago, and it had been replaced with an electrical mechanism, which is working, but it could be easily replaced with an old french mechanism. I just never bothered with it because it didn't matter to me.

It measures 21" h x 11.5" w x 7.5" d
