Larger oval brooch Carnelian colored cabochon Floral design Sterling Silver overlay
Carved Carnelian colored cabochon with a Sterling Silver partial overlay and side floral on frame. This is a somewhat interesting piece, early vintage safety clasp. The design is Art Nouveau along with the period of manufacturing. There are markings on the pin stem which we shown in several of the pictures and they look somewhat foreign and some of the lettering but it is really hard to be sure as the end looks like it finishes with "kia." There is a fair amount of patina in spots so polish if you must but otherwise it is in very good condition and sizes at 1 1/8 x 1 1/2 inches. Tested for 925 Sterling Silver.
