Victorian Carved Amber 10K Gold Pendant Memento Mori

Endearing mid Victorian era carved amber pendant has a motif of clasped hands on one side and initials carved on the other, with gold overlay at the top and bottom of the pendant. The gold has been identified by my jewelry as at least 10K. Although I'm really not sure of the letters, the initials most likely were used to memorialize a loved one. The clasped hand design was used in Victorian days as a symbol of friendship and fidelity. There are some minor signs of wear on the gold at the top of the pendant, but overall very good condition.
