Vintage 15K Gold Pin with Sapphires Edwardian Love Knot Original Box

Charming yellow gold pin from the early 20th century, circa 1915, has three rows with smoothly polished ends and a "love knot" knotted design that encircles front and back. There are two genuine sapphires ( about 2mm) in prong settings on each side. An older C-catch is on the back, as well as a small loop for attaching a safety pin to add more security, or perhaps attach a watch. Pin is marked 15C for 15 karat gold. There is a small "flea bite" on the top of this pin but it is in very good condition otherwise. Please see photos for more information. Measures 1 3/8" x 3/8" across the center.
