Noritake Blue Luster Ware Art Deco Sugar Bowl w/ Red Wreath Mark
Beautiful sky blue luster ware (lusterware or lustre ware) trim on this older porcelain Noritake sugar bowl dating to the early part of the 20th century. Design has a hand painted floral motif in oranges, purples and blues repeated on a smaller scale on the other side of the bowl A gold and black design is on the top of the bowl, with blue and ivory on the lid. In excellent condition for its age, with minimal wear visible and no chips or nicks although there are two small "dimples" in the finish, no doubt part of the manufacturing process. About 4 3/4" high and 6" across. Red wreath M mark with Noritake, Hand Painted and Made in Japan.
