Lenox Bone China Figurine, Footprints in the Sand

This lovely figurine was issued by Lenox as part of the Life of Christ Collection and influenced by the poem attributed to Mary Stevenson who wrote the poem "Footprints..." in 1936. For years, the poem was signed "anonymous" or "unknown" but Ms. Stevenson ran across the original paper with the poem and it was authenticated as being over 50 years old at that time. For space consideration, I have not included the poem, but it can be found by searching the Internet for the title, "Footprints in the Sand."

This figurine stands 5 3/4" tall x 6" wide and is free of damage. I do not have the original box, but the price reflects that. Compare at $99.
