Homer Laughlin Fiesta Yellow Deep Plate/Soup Bowl

I grew up around Fiesta, but didn't look that closely at the details, I guess. I thought this was a large soup bowl, but I now learn it is called a deep plate. I suppose since many people use it to serve stew, spaghetti, pasta in addition to soups, it could be called either. My sister had a large set and she used these bowls/deep plates to serve veggies family style. Since there were only 5 in her family, they worked great for that purpose.

The mark is on the base. This deep plate measures 8 3/8" wide x 1 1/2" deep. I find no damage.
