The I Hate To Cook Book by Peg Bracken, 1st Ed., 1960
This cook book contains 176 pages, including index, and nearly 200 recipes. As stated on the dust jacket, "the recipes haven't been tested by experts. That is why they are valuable. Experts in their sunny, spotless test kitchens can make anything taste good. But even we can make these taste good."
As mentioned earlier, this book is like new...only the dust jacket has issues and they aren't that bad. At fifty, we all have issues, don't we? There is an address label left by the former owner on the inside page, in the event someone borrowed it and forgot where they got it.
This is a humorous and light look at the art of keeping your family happy and well fed. Nothing fancy, no frills.
