This beautiful vintage Silverplate tea set was made by Cooper Bros & Sons Sheffield England.
COOPER BROS & SON- SHEFFIELD ENGLAND - CIRCA 1894-64
This set has 4 pieces, A Cream Pitcher 4 inches tall, an open Sugar 4 1/4 inches tall, a Coffee Pot 9 1/2 inches tall and a squat tea pot 7 1/2 inches tall. All of the pieces have a good weight and are very sturdy.
On each piece there is an engraved ornate pattern of Lilies of the Valley with a spot that could be monogrammed but never was.
The coffee and tea pots also have ornate bird finials.
The handles are decorated with an acanthus leaf design and the spouts have a face.
I polished them and see no loss of silver, no dents, dings or scratches.
