Antique Cast Iron Art Nouveau Lion Ink Well with Original Glass Ink Holder

Very nice rare cast iron laying lion on this all original ink well. Art Nouveau in design with three legs and a slope so the ink would pool. Hinged top on the glass ink holder. The quilled pen would lay across the hinge of the inkwell top. Dark pewter color but might be silverplate or just dark cast iron. Some wear on the metal and a little residue in the cracks from cleaning.

Measuring 7 inches long and 2 1/2 inches to the top of the lions head.4 1/2 inches wide.
