Nelson McCoy Leaves and Berries White Pottery Vase
Ca. 1920's when the clay was heavier this nice vase was designed by Walter Bauer for Nelson McCoy pottery Co.
Mr. Bauer liked to design naturalist patterns this being one leaves and berries.
Off white in color with the leaves and berries on the front and back
Measuring 5 1/2 inches by 8 inches. Different molds on the holly and berry patterns this vase is sort of short and squatty. Unmarked but you can find the information in any MCCoy reference book.
Please note the top and front is in good condition but the base has the glaze off and a couple of age old chips on the bottom edge. I would say from the process of cutting off the bottom on the wet clay.Also, some light crazing. Nice off white vase for your collection of white and McCoy pottery.
