Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Fiddle Salt Spoon

This terrific master salt spoon is hallmarked with the duty mark of George III, the date letter for 1817, and the makers mark, IP GP for Josiah & George Piercy. Josiah and his son George were London silversmiths and registered their mark in 1812 as spoon makers. This fiddle pattern spoon is 4 1/4" long and in excellent condition with minor scratches from light use.
