Art Deco Sterling Silver Gilt Sapphire Blue Screw Earrings
An unusual and incredibly attractive pair of vintage earrings with lots of pizzazz! Golden in color, they are screw type and one is marked 'Sterling' on the post. From the 1940's era, they are wonderfully three dimensional, deco in design, and exceptionally elegant with fabulous open backed, unfoiled, sapphire blue stones and crystal clear rhinestones. These remarkable earrings are approximately 1 3/4" long and 7/8" across. There is a bit of roughness on the oval disk of one earring that we believe is original to the piece and does not detract. The earrings otherwise are in excellent condition and stunning!
