19th Century Antique Royal Worcester Demi Tasse Cup and Saucer
This lovely demitasse cup and saucer have the British Registry number for 1885-86 together with the standard Royal Worcester mark and the handwritten W1986, likely the pattern number. The set is exceptionally attractive with an allover chintz pattern of small leaves in a light blue overlaid with boldly flowing flowers and swirling leaves in a darker blue. The straight sided cup is 2 1/4" high and 2 1/4" across exclusive of the pretty handle. The deep saucer is 4 1/2" in diameter. Both pieces in this Victorian set are in excellent condition with only light crazing that does not detract.
