14K Filigree Gold Cameo Pearl Earring Drops / Enhancers
It's hard to imagine how anyone could have carved the shell cameos in these drops given their incredibly small size, measuring approximately only 1/8" from north to south. Each cameo is a profile of a woman, one facing left the other right. They are prong set on a wonderful recessed filigree gold background surrounded by a gold frame and topped with a single cultured pearl. Each delicate drop is 1" long by just over 1/2" wide. The gold is not marked but acid tests as 14 kt and the combined weight is 2.8 grams.

The woman we purchased them from referred to them as her cameo earrings so we assume they must have been suspended, perhaps from hoops, however we only have the drops themselves and not the findings. If a bale were added, they could be worn as pendants or charms on a bracelet.
