1971 Kansas Official Highway Map by Robert R. Sanders

This is a map from the 1970's, dated 1971. It was back when the cars and trucks could drive 70 mph during the day and 60 mph at night on regular 2 lane roads. This map has the neighboring states in yellow and the state of Kansas is in white with the counties highlighted in yellow. It has colors of black, orange and blue

On the back it says ALL FOUR SEASONS ARE FUN IN KANSAS and shows pheasant hunting, sailboating, and camping and fishing. It has a picture of then governor Robert B. Docking. It also has a mileage chart and maps of some of the larger cities, and all the AM radio stations. I guess FM wasn't an option yet.
