C1950s Little Genius Baby Doll in Box Madame Alexander Dark Eyes

This is a C1950s 7 1/2" Little Genius Baby Doll in Box by Madame Alexander. Little Genius has a clean excellent jointed vinyl body and hard plastic head. The joints are nice and tight, the vinyl is clean, the molded lash sleep eyes sometimes stick, the eyes are very very dark, she has all of her face paint, some blush to the cheeks, no odor, and her hair is very clean under her cap and flattened as she apparently has always worn her bonnet. She is wearing her original white eyelet bonnet in excellent clean condition. The matching white eyelet panties are tagged Little Genius and have yellowed some with age and the waist elastic has stretched. Her white booties have a very very light touch of dust to the bottoms and I have retied them at the ankle with new replacement white ribbon tied in a bow. Her box has a neck liner and is in good original condition and is marked Alexander-kins/700. I do not know if this is her original box but it is the one she came with. The original price was $2.98.
