This is a RARE Happi Time Vinyl Bride Doll in her Original Box C1950s. The doll was made by the Valentine Doll Company and marketed under the Happy Time doll name for Sears and Roebuck Co. The dress is exactly the same as the 20" Princess Bride, and it is pictured on the Vintage Doll Collector site. She is a wonderful pristine example #3727 as stated on the box. Bride doll has never been displayed or played-with as the owner thought so highly of her that she completely labeled the box thus keeping the doll in the box her whole life. She is a 19" doll with hard vinyl body and soft vinyl head. The shoulders are tightly jointed and interestingly the legs have an assembly that let the legs/hips move back and forth as if walking. The vinyl body is still pink (a dark dot appears to her left arm). The blue sleep eyes have brush lashes, her blonde rooted hair is in the perfect original set, and her facial paint is perfect with bright red lips. She is in beautiful pristine clean crisp condition and has not yellowed or grayed. There are several small tan spots to her still petticoat and one on her panties all appearing naturally from age. The net veil top elastic has stretched from age and she has hose and plastic high heels. The original box is in very good condition with shelf wear and owners writing. A rare example and in the original box. If you like bride dolls, Valentine dolls, or like dolls of this period, you will like this RARE doll.
