This is a gorgeous Mint in Box 1985-86 R John Wright Sunday Best Rachel Molded Felt Doll of a Limited Edition 48/250 and part of the Little Children Series II. Rachel is a fully jointed molded felt doll measuring 17" tall. She is gorgeous! Her soft brunettte mohair wig goes to the nape of her neck, her facial features are all beautifully hand painted, has molded felt applied ears, and she carries her miniature all felt doll dressed in calico. Very classically costumed, she is wearing her dark bayberry colored velveteen dress trimmed with white lace, full white cotton slip, long pantalettes trimmed with a ruffle around the leg, long cinnamon brown stockings and black strap shoes. She retains her green and gold foil label to the front of the dress and her Sunday Best tag at the back (sticker pull to it). She is mint, clean and pristine. Her original gold foil box has some age related wear and tear from closet shelf storage. Rachel is a stunning doll and one of the Wright earlier Little Children dolls.
