1930-40 Vogue Sunshine Baby Composition Doll in Original Dress

This is a 1930-40 Vogue 8" Sunshine Baby Composition Doll in her Original Dress. This little cutie was produced by Vogue in the early years of production and is marked Vogue to the back of the head and Doll Co to the lower back. She has a jointed composition body with bent legs and bent arms, molded painted hair, tight stringing, and painted features. There is some paint loss around the backside of the hip joints, tiny nips to the tips of the finger's paint, and there is some minor paint loss to the dolls eyelashes. The rest of the face paint is in good condition with her nice blue eyes. She is wearing her original white-ish cream color fine cotton baby dress with tiny pink flower applique at the front yoke, hook and eye closure, and puff sleeves. There are some tiny holes to the dress right side near the hem and some very very light staining to the fabric as you would expect from age. The matching lace trimmed bonnet also has a tiny hole to the top of the bonnet all from age. It ties with a pink satin ribbon. Underneath she is wearing a lace trimmed white half slip with attached panties that ties at the back waist. It looks to be original to the doll but that is unclear. Little knit booties are on her feet (aged in color)and have blue satin ribbon ties but the booties are not tight to the feet and need new ties if desired.
