This is a 1948-49 RARE 14 inch hard plastic Vogue Bride Doll #14031C marked "Made in USA" to her back. Vogue dressed hard plastic dolls manufactured by other companies such as Arranbee and Ideal and sold them under the Vogue label. This is one of those dolls and she even has the ink spot label to the back of the gown. She is stunning in her complete original costume and in very good condition as well!! This beauty has tight stringing, gorgeous face paint, blue sleep eyes with full lashes, clean blond mohair wig (some hairs are falling across her face), and is an early beautifully dressed doll. She is wearing her original bridal ensemble appearing to never have been undressed and is in excellent clean condition. She is wearing her cream color white satin gown with full waist peplum with looped braid trim, lace trimmed neckline and full long sleeves (a tiny pin point size spot to the front of the skirt). She is also wearing her chapel length net veil trimmed with lace and fabric flowers (veil has about 20 small breaks or holes among the folds that are hard to see unless you spread out the veil in front of a light source, and it has aged yellow some in color), matching satin panties trimmed with blue satin ribbon bows, original white shoes tied with white satin ribbon original bows, and stiff muslin petticoat with threaded blue satin ribbon and net lace hem.
