Stunning Antique Polished Brass & Enamel Box c.1900

A little bit of mystery this box, it was quite black when it came our way so we took it along to one of our restorers who gently polished the exterior, which came up gleaming.

In between are panels of enamelling, in stunning colours. We also weren't sure of it's origin but would guess Persian and dating to around 1900.

A lovely, highly decorative piece in a good size measuring 4 1/4" in diameter x 3" tall. Superb condition.
