Magnificent Figural Ram's Horn & Silver Plate Desk Set / Inkstand - 1885

There is a bell between the two tails, complete with hammer that sits on a hammer stand to the front of the base; in front of this, there is a pen rest sculptured out of the Oak.

Two inkwells sit within their custom holders, original Victorian glass with silver plated mounted collars and hinged lids.

One of the Dolphins is lucky enough to have been impressed with the English Design Registration Number for the year 1885. There is also the original presentation plaque, engraved for the year 1886.

An impressive size, with the base measuring 16 3/4" x 10 1/4" x 12 3/4" tall to top of tail.
