A wonderful little Victorian perfume or scent bottle originally made for a Chatelaine with it's silver chain and ring at the end for attachment.
The bottle has a very stylish repousse decoration both sides with a central oval vacant cartouche for a small engraving if desired.
The screw top works perfectly and is filled with a cork stopper to avoid evaporation of it's precious contents.
There is a hallmark to the base of the bottle for Birmingham 1888, a goo Victorian example together with the Queen Victoria's head mark.
A wonderful highly sought-after bottle in excellent condition. The bottle itself measures 2 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" wide and hangs 3 1/4" including chain.
