Antique English Sterling Silver Capstan Inkwell - Pretty Ribbon & Bow Garlands

The base is beautifully decorated with a ribbon and bow repousse design together with a floral and foliate garland. The sterling silver is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1908, an Edwardian example.

The inkwell comes with the original removable glass liner.

Excellent condition (a couple of tiny bruises to lid and the lid doesn't sit completely closed as seen - all insignificant but mentioned for accuracy). The base has a diameter measuring 5" and stands x 2" tall.
