Victorian English Brass Cheroot Cutter

A most unusual and very handsome small cigar or cheroot cutter. The base has a decorative repousse frieze and the very top of the cutter has a repousse lion's face on. It is here where the cutter is operated pushing it down to cut the end of the little cigar, the tray below would catch the cut off end.

An interesting and attractive addition to your collection. Dating to around 1880,. it remains in excellent condition. Measures 4 1/2" tall with a base diameter measuring 1 3/4".
