ANTIPHONAL antique sheet music 17th or 18th century woodblock print

This is antique sheet music from earlier centuries, known as an "antiphonal". These are normally seen as hand painted manuscripts on vellum (animal skin), but this particular example (18 1/2" by 13 1/2") is printed, with red bars and black lettering and notes. Condition is good considering the advanced age of the sheet, with moderate foxing throughout, two one inch edge tears, and wrinkling in a corner. Framed and matted, I believe these flaws will be minimized. See the net for more information on these early music sheets, which were an important part of religious music, principally in Spain, where Benedictine monks would create these.
