CRAIG KODERA (1956-) major aviation art original oil painting

Oil on canvas, 36" by 24" and 3" frame, signed at lower right and dated 1978, by CRAIG KODERA, a life-long aviation enthusiast and present day airline pilot. Kodera grew up in Southern California and at one time worked as a commercial artist for McDonnell Douglas. The DC-10 and DC-9 aircraft of that manufacturer are present in this painting as well as a classic Cessna. Kodera's works are included in the permanent collection of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington. He is or was recently the VP for the American Society of Aviation Artists. This painting is in excellent, ready to hang condition. The brownish tint at left portion appears to be the intent of the artist; it is not damage or browning.
