JOAN MIRO (1893-1983) lithograph print for 1978 Madrid contemporary art museum exhibition

Interesting, graphically arresting, colorful original lithograph from 1978, 27" by 19 1/2" inside the mat, protected in simple metal frame and plexiglas (not assembled currently), of a 1978 exhibition at the Museo Espanol de Arte Contemporaneo in Madrid. The upper quarter contains most of the print, the middle is the colorful area, and at bottom in large print is the word "MIRO". At extreme lower right in small print is the name of the printer, La Poligrafia, S.A., in Barcelona, and the 1978 date. Original lithographs of Miro subject matter are of course quite popular and collectable, just as are Picasso posters. According to the catalog raisonne of Miro's graphics, this work (#1164 in the catalog) was printed in an edition of 5000. This is a sharp, interesting conversation piece that will surely enhance your home or office. It is taped around the edges on the reverse and is slightly rumpled (not creasing--note photos).
