This is a beautifully executed work by an illustrator artist known for his equine subject matter. Breul was the son of listed artist Hugo Breul (1854-1910). He was a member of the American Watercolor Society and exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Condition is excellent with neither foxing nor fading.
