AUSTIN DEUEL (1939-) Texas Southwest art realism western tempera painting

Tempera on paper laid on artist board, 20" by 30" (28" by 39" as framed), signed at lower right by well known and listed western American artist AUSTIN DEUEL (1939-). showing the interior of an open barn or out shed with a wagon, farm implements, etc., an extensive background view leading the eye to another distant white structure. This has the feel of a Wyeth painting. It's fairly large for the artist, most of whose works seem to be on the smaller side. This is not behind glass, but it's in excellent shape save for some very light abrasions around the signature, which are not a major issue in my opinion (see closeup of the area). A casual look might lead an observer to think this is a print, but it is most definitely original work and I guarantee it to be so. The artist is well known by collectors and dealers in Texas, Arizona, California and New Mexico. His subject matter is typically western Americana oriented subjects like missions, cowboys, the rural western life. Shipping via Fedex Ground at actual cost.
