Contemporary mid century abstract modern signed large painting after Robert Natkin

Oil or acrylic on board, large and impressive wall-filling size at 33 1/2" by 45" (41 1/2" by 53" as framed), in a very contemporary style incorporating the complex geometric small squares repeating patterns of artist Robert Natkin, with the addition of various swirls and carefully placed parallel lines. The artist was surely familiar with Natkin's work. The work is signed in one corner GOLYAR----I do not see a listing by this name or any other information online corresponding to an artist of this name. Condition is very good overall, with the lightest of soiling in places, and near the signature, some evidence of what look like old water drops, but these are truly minor in the scheme of the overall presentation of this mid century painting. This work is large enough that shipping by UPS Ground would be expensive due to oversize charges. A possibility is shipping by Greyhound Package Express, as shipping would likely run under $60 (the successful bidder will have to go to their nearest Greyhound depot to pick this up). Please email me to discuss the shipping. Shipping wizard figures would not therefore be accurate in this case (and they are always just a guesstimate in any event)----Greyhound would really be the best way to go. Local buyers welcomed!
