Russian antique brass samovar circa 1900

This is an antique circa 1900 perhaps Russian brass samovar, the dimensions approximately 16" by 12" by 12", not working condition I would imagine (this is not my specialty, I confess to not knowing a lot about these). The handles are of wood (with wear), the spigot and the remainder of brass. At the bottom front portion of the base, the name of the manufacturer, and the medals he has won at expositions (presumably) are also stamped into the metal. The samovar has seen household use, accounting for some dents in the lid and the body, the latter visible on left side below, when viewed head-on (ask for photos of these, the longest 1"). I am told this is incomplete, there being a top portion and perhaps a knob missing. An interesting piece of history that probably made its way to Southern California with a Russian family (there is a large Russian-speaking population). Samovars are still used in Russian and Eastern European countries, to heat liquids during meals or social occasions; the tradition of their use goes back centuries.
