Impressionist landscape painting of a house in a clearing signed Westerlund
Oil on board peaceful landscape of a house backed by trees in a clearing, a dirt track leading into the scene, 12 1/2" by 15 1/2" as framed, signed at lower left "Westerlund" with some illegible letters before that, circa 1970's or 1980's I would guess. The lettering style and period after the name leads me to think this could be a European or European trained artist, but the scene might be American. The painting is in excellent condition and ready for display. I do not at present seem to be able to develop information on the artist who created it. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates.
