GALE TURNBULL (1886-1964) pencil signed etching of European church by American artist

Etching, 13 3/4" by 9 3/4" as nicely framed in wood, the subject a cathedral tower, possibly Dutch, Belgian or French, dedicated in lower margin "TO HELEN" and signed at lower right by New York and California artist GALE TURNBULL (1886-1964). Turnbull was born on Long Island and studied art in Paris, where he was a friend of Abel Warshawsky. By 1936 he was in California, where he painted plein air landscapes. He is also known as a wood carver and etcher. This work is very clean and ready for the wall. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates.
