Colorful tropical landscape impressionist signed painting possibly Vietnamese artist
Oil on canvas, 22" by 27", unframed, probably executed within the past 25 years, signed at lower right with what appears as "M. Bu Tran", the subject an expansive landscape with roiling clouds, a decidedly tropical or sub-tropical plant like a banana tree at lower left suggesting a lower latitude location. Found in Southern California, it could be of Asian, Latin American ("M. Butran"??) or even California origin possibly, but there is no other hint as to who the artist might have been and I cannot located a listing under these names or "Beltran" either. So I will offer it on its own merits as a colorful impressionist work. Condition is excellent. It will need a frame but then you can hang it right on the wall.
