Gouache on paper, 8" by 20" (17" by 28 1/2" as framed), the subject native American tipis on the plains, a fallen tree log at right foreground, all surrounded by lush light green grass on a prairie spring day. The work is signed by the artist at lower right and titled there "Spring" and dated 1979. I have not found much information on the artist---there is an askart listing suggesting he is from California, and he does have his own website under his name. Paintings in acrylic and other media are offered there. The rustic wood frame and clean liner makes for a wall-ready piece of western American art. Shipping wizard figures are guesstimates.
