CHARLES BLONDIN (1913-) Paris impressionist street scene pencil signed limited edition color print
This is a color aquatint, 9 7/8 by 12 7/8" as framed, the subject a monumental Paris building in the autumn twilight, (the Pantheon, I believe?), numbered at lower left 248 of 500 and signed at lower right in pencil by the noted French 20th century impressionist painter CHARLES BLONDIN (1913-). Blondin was active in Paris in the post war years, painting and creating editions of prints which he numbered and hand signed. This example has not been examined outside the frame. I believe it likely that the sides have been cropped as there is little margin showing at left and right. The print is clean and ready for the wall. See hundreds of other works now in my shop.
